we don't have to be stuck where we are, we don't have to repeat a cycle of sin, we don't have to keep stumbling and falling, we don't have to keep falling into bouts of darkness, we don't have to make the same mistake again, we don't have to feel despised by others just because we are the ones who despise ourselves deep down, we don't have to shed the same tears, we don't have to look at the wet, muddy ground when there're blue skies and sun shining through the branches, we don't have to be disappointed with what potentially can be the most beautiful parts of our personalities, we don't have to be entangled with loneliness and hurt, we don't have to let others define our confidence, we don't have to let performance dictate esteem, we don't have to feel tired even when we're tired, we don't have to be popular to be loved, we don't have to tirelessly seek what's not meant to be ours, we don't have to - -
