It's really really cold outside with the windchill... 0 deg C!! Goodness. Why is 4 deg so different from 0 deg... the difference feels much more than the diff between 4 and 8 deg. I think it's something to do with latent heat. Argh! Walking back from Sainsbury's with a backpack of groceries and a couple of bags in my hands was purgatory... never felt so cold and tired before. The first grocery-shopping trip really wasn't as bad. My hands were freezing and red... the cold was starting to bite at them and it's like. Argh! Stingy, red, cold fingers... which I couldn't feel after some time.

But it's quite fun la... just quite torturous to be out in the cold for a long time. Gives me reason to just camp at home with a cup of hot chocolate... Ayee but I've got lots of phlegm so I have to abstain from sweet stuff. Hai.

This morning was a good start to the day tho. I had fellowship, BS, sharing and prayer with Eleena in her room and it felt really great praying together. Thank God for answering my prayers and granting me a spiritual partner to walk with in York...

Hope I can see snow soon. :)

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me,
Your right hand will hold me fast.
