Goodness. This is just about the most interesting day so far. Haha.
Well Jason, Ailin and I took a trip down to Asda, a low-cost big supermart supposedly about 30 minutes away (including waiting time). Took bus no. 4 down to the city centre but we didn't know where to alight so we just drifted along with the bus. When it got too uncertain for comfort we went up to the 'friendly bus driver', as Ailin puts it, and asked if it went to Stonebow in the city centre. He said it didn't but he told us we could alight and cross the road to take it back (he certainly was friendly). We asked if 16 along the road we were travelling goes to Asda and he said yeah.... so we alighted and transfered to 16 (16A actually). We travelled, travelled, travelled for 45 minutes....... then it looped back towards the city centre. I didn't even notice it, given my perpetually 'blur' condition. It was Jason who noticed it. Arghhhh... so it made a loop back and yeah, Asda was at the last station of the route. Well, nearly the last. Ok, so 16 does go to Asda but the driver didn't tell us it loops!!
That was the first blooper.

Ok, and it was raining and all. So we got a little wet... it wasn't that bad but if it were in Singapore I'd have gone out with a brolly. The total bus journey took about 2 hours and we finally arrived at Asda. It wasn't too bad; it was an entire stretch of big stores or marts we could shop in and I suppose that was consolation. We shopped for slightly less than an hour before we went to eat at the diner's in Asda. (Yes, I didn't get to cook 'cuz we were all tired plus Jason's sick. And we didn't get to shop the other places too. Well we made it a point to go to Asda's every Wednesday 'cuz I have no lessons on that day) We ate till about 8ish, then brought our stuff to the bus stop. Then we realised we've already missed the last bus. Goodness, how'd we know the last bus was at 8 pm...?? I wasn't freaked or anything tho, was pretty amused by it. At least I had company, so it wasn't that bad. Booked a cab and the lady at the end of the line said it'll come at 9 but when it still wasn't here at 9.20 I made a 2nd call. The lady said the customer was supposed to have been fetched, so she booked another one for me. Finally, it came at about 9.35 or so... then we were ferried back to our colleges.

Ya then we took the wrong packs. So Jason has my stuff and vice versa. Sighhh...

6.5 hours for a trip to the supermart. wow...
But hey, it's pretty exciting. haha ;)
